GRADUATION PROJECT

Synopsis:

The project set out to explore methods of collaborating one’s natural ability with acquired education and commercial objectives of the industry.

In this case, I have attempted to combine my natural illustration skill with my education of form, function, color, texture & user experience with the industry objective of communication design.

Also, the project was developed within the space of product design and questioned the limits of its sensory, physical and perceptive elements to create enhanced user experience.

Collection-1: I BELIEVE IN GREEN

No country needs a green revolution more than ours. We are already experiencing the effects of human greed & ignorance in our daily weather. It's important to protect the future of our children and our country.

The project's objective borders the concept of a silent revolution
and discreet messaging. It tries to show how a simple object like
a regular paper cup can become an important vehicle for
communication & change.The environmental problems
associated with paper cups are only accentuated by their
wide-spread usage among tea/coffee drinkers.It’s difficult to
determine just how many disposable coffee cups get used annually.
According to the paper industry, world will consume an
estimated 23 billion paper coffee cups in 2010. So what can be done?
The solution lies in the problem itself. My aim is to put
a seed of tree beneath
every coffe cup that we use. The seed can be
received as gift by the user or
can be thrown in the dustbin from where it might
reach to the soil. In both ways
the seeds going to circulate and if ten paper cups
could seed one tree back into
nature, imagine, the number of trees this silent
revolution could give rise to.
